Inside the story of Under the Tree
Under the Tree centers on a premise that unfolds like this: When Baldvin and Inga's next door neighbours complain that a tree in their backyard casts a shadow over their sundeck, what starts off as a typical spat between neighbours in the suburbs unexpectedly and violently spirals out of control.
What sets it apart is how it treats its drama and comedy elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "Two Families. One Tree. A Bloody Mess." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
