The Eye plot and story overview
At its core, The Eye follows a story that unfolds like this: A blind concert violinist gets a cornea transplant allowing her to see again. However, she gets more than she bargained for when she realizes her new eye can see ghosts. She sets out to find the origins of the cornea and discover the fate of its former host.
What sets it apart is how it treats its horror elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "How can you believe your eyes when they're not yours?" — captures that tone perfectly.
