Prisoner of the Mountains

The narrative of Prisoner of the Mountains unfolds like this: Two Russian soldiers, one battle-seasoned and the other barely into his boots and uniform, are taken prisoner by an anxious Islamic father from a remote village hoping to trade them for his captured son.

Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "An extraordinary story of hope, courage and humanity." — captures that tone perfectly.
