Whether you are a longtime fan or discovering it for the first time, Cat and Goldfish Love Story rewards viewers who know what to look for. Directed by Takahisa Zeze, the project blends drama and comedy into something that lingers long after the credits. The premise of Cat and Goldfish Love Story, explained
Cat and Goldfish Love Story centers on a premise that unfolds like this: A love story directed by Takahisa Zeze of "MOON CHILD". Yusuke, a writer, spends his days aimlessly, reeling from the shock of his lover’s death. Then one day, a cat and a woman fall from the roof of his block of flats… The film depicts the various human dramas that unfold around a pet.
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "Angel? Witch? A woman and a cat have fallen from the sky!" — captures that tone perfectly.
