What is At Jesus' Side about?
At its core, At Jesus' Side follows a story that unfolds like this: The last week of Jesus’ life through the Resurrection, as seen through the eyes of a pack of outcast animals. Jericho, a vagabond street dog, befriends Jesus and follows Him throughout the week. Jericho hates humans, so when Jesus shows kindness, it’s the biggest surprise of his life. He slowly turns from fear and anger to love and grace when he learns how to forgive a man who hurt him in the past. After Jesus’ arrest, Jericho rallies an epic charge of animal friends to save Jesus from His fate.
What sets it apart is how it treats its animation, drama, and family elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "A journey of love and forgiveness." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
