What is Secret Story about?
At its core, Secret Story follows a story that unfolds like this: The game contestants are cut off from the rest of the world during ten to fifteen weeks in a house called “house of secrets”, where every room is fitted with video cameras, except the restroom. The goal is to keep a secret while trying to discover the other contestants' secret.
Rather than rushing, the series lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "French adaptation of the Big Brother franchise's format" — captures that tone perfectly.
