Two Idiots in Hollywood plot and story overview
At its core, Two Idiots in Hollywood follows a story that unfolds like this: Idiots Taylor Dupp and Murphy Wegg flee their humdrum existence in Dayton, Ohio for the glamour of Hollywood. Murphy turns his complete lack of talent into a career as a television producer ("The Pac-Man Show"), while Taylor is unjustly accused of murder.
What sets it apart is how it treats its comedy elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "Fast women. Fast cars. Fast food." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
