If Thunder on the Hill is on your watchlist, here is the complete breakdown — plot, cast, ratings, and where to stream it in HD. The premise of Thunder on the Hill, explained
At its core, Thunder on the Hill follows a story that unfolds like this: Sister Mary presides over a convent where a convicted murderess, who is being escorted to Death Row, is stranded by bad weather. She is slowly becoming convinced that Valerie is innocent so Sister Mary sets about to clear the girl and bring the real killer to justice.
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "Six desperate people...hiding one guilty secret!" — captures that tone perfectly.
