What is The Slammin' Salmon about?
At its core, The Slammin' Salmon follows a story that unfolds like this: The brutal former heavyweight boxing champion Cleon "Slammin'" Salmon (Duncan), now owner of a Miami restaurant, institutes a competition to see which waiter can earn the most money in one night: the winner stands to gain $10,000, while the loser will endure a beating at the hands of the champ.
What sets it apart is how it treats its comedy elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "Bring a bib, it's gonna get messy." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
