The premise of The Last Kiss, explained
The narrative of The Last Kiss unfolds like this: Laurel always imagined her first kiss would be a fairy tale. After a vision reveals her crush is doomed to die in a strange murder spree targeting her closest friends, she races to unmask the killer before the mystery becomes a massacre.
The pacing rewards patient viewers, layering small details that pay off later. The tagline — "Some goodbyes last forever." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
