What is The Crooked Web about?
The narrative of The Crooked Web unfolds like this: Following World War II, ex-G.I. Stan Fabian opens a drive-in restaurant, where his girlfriend, Joanie, is a car hop. She's against it, but inveterate gambler Stan finds the promise of riches too seductive to resist.
