The Cars That Ate Paris plot and story overview
The Cars That Ate Paris centers on a premise that unfolds like this: After surviving a car accident, a young man finds himself trapped in the isolated town of Paris, where the local economy depends on deliberately causing crashes and salvaging the wreckage. As he becomes entangled in the town’s routines, tensions between its residents and a rebellious group of youths begin to surface.
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "148 people live in the township of Paris and every one of them is a murderer." — captures that tone perfectly.
