The premise of The Butcher's Wife, explained
At its core, The Butcher's Wife follows a story that unfolds like this: A clairvoyant woman thinks that she's met her future husband because she's seen him in a dream. Through her advice, she helps others and eventually finds the true man of her dreams.
What sets it apart is how it treats its fantasy, comedy, and romance elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "She's a psychic who's turning New Yorkers into lovers.
