Whether you are a longtime fan or discovering it for the first time, The 13th Day rewards viewers who know what to look for. Read on for the full plot overview, the cast and crew, critical reception, and answers to the questions fans ask most.
What is The 13th Day about?
At its core, The 13th Day follows a story that unfolds like this: In Fatima, Portugal, between May and October 1917, the Virgin Mary appeared to three young children. The Lady of Light appeared to them on the 13th day of each month for six months, promising that on her last visit she would perform a miracle.
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "In a time of lost innocence, the faith of three children will inspire thousands and make the world believe in miracles" — captures that tone perfectly.
