Removal plot and story overview
Removal centers on a premise that unfolds like this: Witnessing a murder and a suicide caused Cole to have hallucinations that cost him his marriage and job. Now working as a cleaner he must clean a stately home outside of the city, owned by the sadistic Henry.
What sets it apart is how it treats its crime, horror, and thriller elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "Wash. Rinse. Repeat… And Repeat." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
