What is Red Sonja about?
At its core, Red Sonja follows a story that unfolds like this: The tyrant Gedren seeks the total power in a world of barbarism. She raids the city Hablac and kills the keeper of a talisman that gives her great power. Red Sonja, sister of the keeper, sets out with her magic sword to overthrow Gedren.
What sets it apart is how it treats its adventure, fantasy, and action elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "A woman and a warrior that became a legend." — captures that tone perfectly.
