Inside the story of Pick-up
Pick-up centers on a premise that unfolds like this: Sexy hippie chicks Carol and Maureen get more than they bargained for when they hitch a ride with groovy hippie dude Chuck in his nifty mobile bus home. The trio get lost in the Florida Everglades following a fierce rain storm and embark on a startling spiritual journey of self-discovery.
What sets it apart is how it treats its drama and fantasy elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "It was the longest ride of her life!" — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
