Paltan plot and story overview
The narrative of Paltan unfolds like this: A war drama based on the Indo-China War of 1962, JP Dutta's "PALTAN" focuses on the hard-hitting truth of India's relations with China, and how it is important to acknowledge that China, an enormous power in world politics, poses to be a huge threat to India.
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "1967 A True Story That Was Never Told" — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
