Night of Something Strange plot and story overview
Night of Something Strange centers on a premise that unfolds like this: Five teenage friends set out for the beach on their Spring Break vacation. Good times are cut short when one of the group, Carrie, contracts a deadly sexual transmitted disease during a bathroom stop. When they stop for the night at an isolated motel, the real terror begins when the STD virus starts running rampant, turning those infected into the living dead.
What sets it apart is how it treats its comedy and horror elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "Don't forget your rubbers...and bazooka!" — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
