What is Kick-Ass about?
Kick-Ass centers on a premise that unfolds like this: Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so.
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "Shut up. Kick-ass." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
