The premise of Karz, explained
Karz centers on a premise that unfolds like this: Ravi Verma is killed by his wife Kamini in a plot to steal his family's wealth and property. He is reborn as Monty, a popular singer exploited by a crude businessman. When Monty hears Ravi's favorite tune, memories of his previous life and violent death resurface. With the help of his fiancee Tina, Monty seeks revenge against his murderer and restoration of the Verma family.
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "People in love don't ask for a certificate of trust." — captures that tone perfectly.
