Whether you are a longtime fan or discovering it for the first time, Following rewards viewers who know what to look for. Directed by Kim Se-hwi, the project blends thriller and mystery into something that lingers long after the credits. Below you'll find an honest look at the story, the people behind it, and whether it deserves a spot in your queue.
Inside the story of Following
Following centers on a premise that unfolds like this: A realtor who loves sneaking into people's homes finds the dead body of a scamming social media influencer – can he find out who did it?
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "He steals glances. She steals lives." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
