Dreaming About You

Dreaming About You centers on a premise that unfolds like this: Two teenage friends spend their summer break preparing for the sexual conquests they hope to experience. That is, until one of the boys is visited by his older, more sexually aggressive cousin, Azucena. Ushering her naïve cousin into the world of sex could take more work than Azucena realized.

Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. Themes of ambition, loyalty, and consequence run throughout. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.

Dreaming About You is anchored by Leticia Perdigón, José Alonso, Socorro Bonilla, and Martín Altomaro, working under the direction of Maryse Sistach. The chemistry between the leads is one of the production's quiet strengths.

The script comes from José Buil, whose writing keeps the dialogue sharp. You can trace the full credits and filmographies on IMDb and TMDB.
