Dark Mountain plot and story overview
At its core, Dark Mountain follows a story that unfolds like this: A woman doesn't realize that the man she has just married is a gangster. When she is implicated in a murder he committed, she turns to an ex-boyfriend, who is now a park ranger, for help. He hides her out in a cabin up in the mountains, and her husband goes on the hunt for both of them.
What sets it apart is how it treats its drama elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "RUGGED ACTION and THRILLS!" — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
