Inside the story of Dafydd
Dafydd centers on a premise that unfolds like this: A young gay hustler from South Wales, Dafydd is working in Amsterdam where he meets David, a music lecturer also from Wales. Two kindred spirits in a foreign land. Originally aired as episode 2, series 3, of the television program "Wales Playhouse".
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "A rent boy's story" — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
