The premise of Buzzin' Around, explained
At its core, Buzzin' Around follows a story that unfolds like this: Fatty invents a liquid with flubber-like properties which makes objects resilient and unbreakable. Unfortunately, in his rush to get out of the house to demonstrate his invention, he unknowingly grabs a jar of moonshine instead of the jar which holds his wonder liquid. To make matters worse, as he drives to the demonstration, a football-sized beehive falls from a tree onto the cargo bed of his truck . . .
What sets it apart is how it treats its comedy elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot. The tagline — "With the world's funniest fat man." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
