Bad Hair Day plot and story overview
Bad Hair Day centers on a premise that unfolds like this: Monica is desperate to be prom queen, but on the big night, her hair is an uncontrollable mess. Meanwhile, FBI agent Liz Morgan is on the hunt for a jewel thief who is looking for a stolen necklace, which Monica has in her possession. Soon, she and the agent chase the jewel thief, and she's whizzed on a wild adventure in the city.
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "The road to prom can be a big hairy mess." — captures that tone perfectly. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.
