What is As the Gods Will about?
As the Gods Will centers on a premise that unfolds like this: High school student Shun Takahata is bored. Suddenly, he and his classmates are forced to play deadly children's games and facing terrifying creatures from a talking Daruma doll to a sharp-clawed lucky cat.
What sets it apart is how it treats its thriller, horror, and comedy elements not as decoration but as the engine of the plot.
