The premise of Addicted to It, explained
The narrative of Addicted to It unfolds like this: Dace attempts the impossible: a peaceful walk without his phone. But his device, Phoney Bunny, springs to life and chases him like a clingy ex. As he recruits fellow screen junkies, one question remains: can you live without your phone?
Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. The tagline — "Dace thought “unplugging” would be a walk in the park, but when his phone comes to life and chases him down, he learns that he just might be a little bit… addicted to it." — captures that tone perfectly.
