Aarzoo

Aarzoo centers on a premise that unfolds like this: After her fiance, Vijay, is killed in a crash, a pregnant Pooja agrees to marry Amar, her childhood friend who has always loved her. But her life takes yet another turn when Vijay returns to her life.

Rather than rushing, the film lets tension build naturally, trusting the audience to keep up. Themes of ambition, loyalty, and consequence run throughout. For a frame-by-frame breakdown, the dedicated Wikipedia entry and IMDb trivia pages are excellent companions.

Aarzoo is anchored by Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Kumar, Madhuri Dixit, and Amrish Puri, working under the direction of Lawrence D'Souza. Casting is half the battle, and this ensemble pulls its weight.

The script comes from Reema Rakesh Nath, whose writing keeps the dialogue sharp. You can trace the full credits and filmographies on IMDb and TMDB.
